Samba: District administration Samba in its endeavour to promote the flagship programme Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, Tuesday organised girls under 25 years cricket tournament here at Sports Stadium Samba.
District Development Commissioner, Samba Rohit Khajuria, Chairperson Beti Bachao Beti Padhao scheme, was the chief guest on the occasion.
In the tournament four teams of district samba participated Viz Higher Secondary School Vijaypur, N V Dahlo, Rajput Club and MIER public school Ramgarh.
In the knock out cricket match’s N V Dahlot defeated HSS Vijaypur and Rajput Club Gurha Salathia defeated MIER Ramgarh and final was won by Rajput Cricket Club by 7 wickets.
The chief guest distributed winners mementos and certificates of participation among the participants.
