Srinagar: In continue to Plantation Drive, started by Chief Justice of High Court of J&K, Justice Gita Mittal, DLSA Srinagar Tuesday organized Plantation Drives and sensitization programme on Corona virus.
The plantation drives were organized at Govt. Boys High School Balhama and at Government Girls Higher Secondary School Chanapora in which a sizable number of students participated.
It was informed that 200 government and private schools have been identified for further plantation drives to be organized by DLSA Srinagar in collaboration with Urban Forestry Division Srinagar.
Secretary, DLSA, Adnan Sayeed stressed the students to plant trees to save future and take precautions and safety measures to tackle threat of Corona virus.
Maisar-ul- Zaman Range Officer and other officials of Urban Forestry Division were also present beside Principal and staff Members of both schools.
