Awareness Cum Registration camp on Industrial dev scheme of Mo MSE held at Pahalgam

Ang: The District Industries Centre Anantnag Tuesday organised one day Awareness cum registration camp for Hoteliers and Tourism related industry of Mo MSE at Phalgam Club.
The camp was attended by large number of Hoteliers, Tour & Travel Operators, Adventure sports personalities and various associations including Guest House Owners association of Phalgam.
The General Manager District Industries Centre Anantnag, Peerzada Zahoor Ahmad said it is a great opportunity for the Hoteliers and Tourism related persons to take advantage of the scheme.
The aim of organizing the awareness cum registration programme at the destination is to provide incentives to the Tourism related industrialists for upgrading their activities.
He asked the Hoteliers and Tourism related industrialists to come forward and avail the benefits of the above said scheme for which every possible help will be made available.
It was given out that the DIC will depute field staff to the destination for online registration.
The Hoteliers raised certain issues related to unscheduled power cuts, sanitation, issuance of NOCs, Permission for construction, repairs and renovation, fortnightly interaction with Hoteliers and issuance of permissions for existing Guest Houses.
The CEO Phalgam Development Authority Dr. Nasir Ahmad on the occasion said online process of permission has been started to settle the lengthy permission process in CEO office. He appealed the Hoteliers to follow the legal formalities.
Among others the Camp was also attended by SDM Syed Fahem , Functional Manager DIC, Mohammad Bakhtawar, AEO’s of DIC and other field functionaries of the department.
