Surrender Vs Survival

Surrender leads to subjugation, but not the survival and more in Jammu & Kashmir presently standing at the centre of a conflict over the future of the youth. Launching a new party and declaring article 370 a dead issue won’t end the endless chaos in Kashmir as the incumbent central government day in and day out pronounces provocative decisions hurting the core public sentiments of the people. Surprisingly the decisions like inclusion of Article 370 abrogation and Jammu & Kashmir Reorganisation Act 2019 in the school syllabus were received with contempt from the central government by the people of Jammu & Kashmir hours after the launching of a new party by over two dozen former legislators. BJP’s Central leadership welcoming the launching of a new party in Jammu & Kashmir and central government announcing inclusion of Article 370 abrogation and Jammu & Kashmir Reorganisation Act 2019 in the school syllabus are sufficient enough to indicate that the ruling party at the centre has no plans to end the endless political chaos in Jammu & Kashmir. Leaders of newly launched political party declaring Article 370 a dead issue is by all standards of understandabilities a brute surrender and central government directing inclusion of Article 370 abrogation and Jammu & Kashmir Reorganisation Act 2019 in the school syllabus is yet another attempt of the central government to subjugate gullible Kashmiris. Surprisingly the newly launched political party is silent even over the removal of the word “Sher-e- Kashmir” from Kashmir International Conference Centre to call it “Kashmir International Conference Centre” only. The newly launched political party is yet to respond to the government’s tendencies of changing names of places and public institutions only for furthering the purposes of fueling unwanted provocations in Kashmir. People can’t believe the words of the leaders of the newly launched party who don’t dare to speak against the government over the change in names of places and public institutions just to allow the ruling party at the centre to trigger unwanted and unnecessary provocations in Kashmir.
Breaking the silence over provocative measures is the only way to disallow surrender and subjugation for the purposes of the survival of the political identity of the people of Jammu & Kashmir.
The leaders of newly launched political party would by all standards of political understandabilities find themselves grappling with the challenge of political identity in their own home constituencies if they don’t stand up against the government and resist the government’s plans of implementing provocative decisions in a hostile political atmosphere in Jammu & Kashmir. Restoring the political, constitutional and administrative position is not as big a challenge for survival as is the restoration of the faith of people in the working of the political initiatives. Breaking the silence over provocative measures is the only way to disallow surrender and subjugation for the purposes of the survival of the political identity of the people of Jammu & Kashmir.
