Ang: Nehru Yuva Kendra, Anantnag distributed sports kits including Cricket, Volleyball and Carom Kits among various sports club from across the district at a function organised here Monday.
On the occasion, District Development Commissioner Anantnag, Bashir Ahmad Dar, who was the Chief Guest of the function, said sports play a vital role in overall development of the students and every student should be encouraged to participate in sports.
He assured the participants that District Administration is keen to improve sports infrastructure in the district to enable the sports talent is taken to new heights.
Among others present on the ocassion were Director, Nehru Yuva Kendra, B S Gill, Deputy Director Nazir Ahmad Shah, District Youth Coordinator NYK, Mohammad Khalil Mir and members of various youth clubs of the district.
