DDC Kathua reviews progress under Capex and other schemes

Kathua: District Development Commissioner, O P Bhagat, Friday chaired a meeting to review the physical and financial achievements under District Capex Budget 2019-20, BADP, Back to Village programme, Cluster Model Village, Badnota, Tribal Plan Works, SCA to SCSP, CSS/Loan Schemes, BBBP and other flagship schemes ending 02/2019.
The DDC sought work wise details of projects executed ending February 2019 under District Capex Budget and major outcomes and achievements under District Capex Budget 2019-20. He also reviewed the status of e-tendering of works, implementation of PULSE and third party evaluation.
For preparing Greywater management Plan for rural areas, DDC directed all the concerned officers to identify villages with or less than 1000 population and villages with population more than 1000 and prepare an action plan for Greywater Management of these villages with collaboration of WWSCs/PRIs/BDCs and District Jal Jeevan Mission.
He further stressed that all the development works must be monitored on real time basis using the mobile app JKPULSE as it captures the data in real time and will generate instant reports for monitoring the progress of the schemes.
DDC also directed all the officers in the meeting to adhere to the Expenditure Reforms to streamline spending and to avoid last minute rush of expenditure.
The meeting was attended by PO ICDS Kathua, Ritu Mahajan, CPO, Uttam Singh, DSWO, Abdul Raheem, Engineers, DFOs, BDOs and other concerned district officers.
Earlier, the DDC also listened to the demands of several Sarpanchs of the district and assured them of timely redressal.
