Srinagar: Chairman Peoples Democratic Front (PDF) and former minister Hakeem Mohammad Yaseen on Saturday sought immediate roll back of the government decision invoked to scrap 1500 jobs in Jammu & Kashmir Bank.
Seeking the intervention of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah and Lieutenant Governor Chamder Mumrmu over his demand for immediate roll back of the government decision invoked scrap 1500 government job the PDP Chairman said scrapping jobs of gullible youth would increase the intensity jobless and bring despair but not hope to jobless youth in Jammu & Kashmir .
Terming the decision an attempt to play with the careers of lakhs of educated unemployed youth of Jammu and Kashmir, Hakeem urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah and Lieutenant Governor Chander Mumrmu to serious cognizance of scrapping of recruitment process started and concluded under Governor’s rule after the fall of a popular government in the erstwhile Jammu & Kashmir.
Saying that it is surprising to see J&K administration revealing about the irregularities in the recruitment process after two years after the appointments were ordered in the bank, the PDF Chairman urged the government to punish the officers responsible for irregularities in the selection process and not the youth selected through regular recruitment process.
Asking the government to desist from the policy of playing with careers and job of the youth of Jammu & Kashmir Hakeem asked asked the Government to immediately withdraw the decision in the larger interests of the youth and instead take action against the officers responsible for frauds in the selection process.
