Jammu: A deputation of Jammu and Kashmir National and International Footballers Forum (NIFF) Tuesday called on Advisor to Lieutenant Governor, Farooq Khan, here at Civil Secretariat.
NIFF discussed with the Advisor several issues regarding the game of Football in the UT of J&K and sought his support for furthering the reach of game to every corner of the region. They said the game has a history of producing international standard players and is being loved by people immensely.
The members of the forum also demanded elections for J&K Football Association so that the day to day affairs and activities of the association could be carried out in a more professional manner.
The Advisor assured the visiting deputation that the government is according focused attention towards the promotion and propagation of the game.
