DDC Ang reviews implementation of MG NREGA, RD schemes

Ang: District Development Commissioner, Anantnag, Bashir Ahmad Dar Tuesday convened a meeting with BDC Chairpersons and officers of RDD to review the implementation of MG NREGA and RD schemes in the district.
ADDC Anantnag, DPO, ACD, Executive Engineer R.E Wing Anantnag, BDC Chairpersons, Panchs and Sarpanchs attended the meeting.
On the occasion, the DDC asked the concerned officers to work in coordination with BDC Chairpersons, Sarpanchs and Panchs for development of the district. He directed the concerned to speed up the pace of work and ensure timely completion of ongoing developmental projects.
The DDC asked the concerned BDOs to execute developmental works in all left out panchayats of the district.
He asked the officers to avoid middleman-ship in MG NREGA and ensure Aadhar based payments so that the payment goes to the right person.
He directed the concerned for prioritising water conservation works and works of urgent nature.
