ADDC Jammu chairs Rogi Kalayan Samiti meet

Jammu: Additional District Development Commissioner Jammu Romesh Chander Friday convened a meeting of the governing body of the Rogi Kalayan Samiti at Sarwal Hospital Jammu.
The meeting was attended by CMO Jammu Dr. J. P. Singh, Medical Superintendent Dr. Rajeev Sharma, Physician Dr. Govind Sharma, Corporator Arun Khanna besides other members of governing body and Executive Body.
Taking stock of the infrastructure available in the hospital and reviewing the functioning of the hospital, ADDC assured the members of the Samiti that the administration will not leave any stone unturned to equip this institution with modern facilities and also invited their contribution in making this institute a model one for other to follow. He assured the members that their demands would be projected to higher authorities for early fulfilment.
Earlier, Medical Superintendent highlighted the work done reports, Revenue, Expenditure and overall functioning of the hospital. He informed about the number of patients examined and treated in various sections of the hospital. It was informed that SNCU has been established in the hospital. It has reduced the referrals to SMGS Hospital and able to save lives of many new borns. He also highlighted the other achievements being made by the institution.
While giving details about the staff position, Medical Superintendent informed about the requirement of staff, equipments and other necessary infrastructure in the hospital.
