Jammu: The Government on Thursday directed apex level and divisional level committees constituted for the preparatory work for elections to panchayat seat to simultaneously start the preparatory work for the vacant municipal seats also.
In an order issued from the General Administration Department (GAD) the Government that the Apex Level Committee and the Divisional Level Committee(s) shall also conduct the preparatory work for elections to the vacant Municipal seats and simultaneously the Director, Urban Local Bodies, Kashmir and Director Urban Local Bodies Jammu have been appointed as the members of the Divisional Level Committees for Kashmir and Jammu Division respectively.
