One way traffic from Jammu to Srinagar

Srinagar: The traffic police authorities on Tuesday evening announced that Kashmir highway will remain open for one way traffic from Jammu to Srinagar today as one way traffic was allowed from Srinagar to Jammu on Tuesday.
Talking to Kashmir Horizon over phone a senior traffic police official said “ one way traffic will be allowed from Jammu to Srinagar today as one way traffic was allowed from Jammu to Srinagar on Tuesday”. Following improvement in weather and the condition of the highway the traffic police authorities are allowed one way traffic from Jammu to Srinagar on alternate days. For about last six days no disruption in one way traffic was witnessed from any where on the highway. The highway on Banihal-Ramban track is prone to landslides triggered by frequent snowing and ongoing excavation work for four laning of the road on Banihal-Ramban track.
