Srinagar : Weather is likely to improve from today but mercury will continue to remain below freezing points in Kashmir valley, said a spokesman of the meteorological department.
Talking to Kashmir Horizon over phone an official of the meteorological department said “wet weather will end today but mercury will continue to remain below freezing points in Kashmir valley”. Light snowing in parts of Kashmir valley and heavy rains in plains in Jammu region witnessed till Tuesday evening hit traffic for the second consecutive time in last five day. The sub zero night temperatures in valley continues to haunt valley as there is no end to intensifying cold wave in North Kashmir this year.
