Abrogation of Article 370: Modi’s poll ploy in poll bound states

Prime Minister Narendra Modi despite knowing that his government faces a constitutional test over the abrogation of article 370
and article 35 A and bifurcation of Jammu & Kashmir state into two union territories in the apex court of the country has dared
the grand old main opposition Congress party to restore article 370 obviously to exploit situation in Kashmir for electoral
gains in poll bound Mahrashtra and Haryana states. Even naives can understand that now it is only for the supreme court of the
country to restore article 370, article 35 A or put up the final stamp of approval on abrogation of article 370 and article 35 A
and bifurcation of Jammu & Kashmir state into two union territories. While the constitutional and legal authority to restore the
country to restore article 370, article 35 A or approve the abrogation of article 370 and article 35 A and bifurcation of Jammu
& Kashmir state into two union territories lies with the supreme court of the country, the challenges of restoring normalcy in
Kashmir are unprecedentedly increasing fast in Kashmir and promise of the Prime Minister to restore normalcy in less than four
months in Kashmir is unlikely to come true keeping in view the situation unfolding in Kashmir after the withdrawal of special
status to Jammu & Kashmir state and its bifurcation into two union territories .
Better it would have been for the Prime Minister to wait for the outcome of the pleas filed against the abrogation of article
370 and article 35 A and bifurcation of Jammu & Kashmir state into two union territories but not to dare the grand old
opposition political party to restore the Jammu & Kashmir’s special status before returning to power at the centre. The Congress
party can’t take a stand over the restoration of article 370 before the final verdict of the Supreme Court on the pleas filed
against the abrogation of article 370 and article 35 A and bifurcation of Jammu & Kashmir state into two union territories or
it’s return to power at the centre. As it is too early to talk about the final judgment of the supreme court on the pleas filed
to challenge pleas filed against the abrogation of article 370 and article 35 A and bifurcation of Jammu & Kashmir state into
two union territories, creating a flutter over the abrogation or restoration of political 370 is just a political ploy of Prime
Minister Narendra Modi just for furthering the poll prospects of BJP in poll bound Mahrashtra and Haryana states.
