JAMMU: Divisional Commissioner Sanjeev Verma today reviewed the progress on Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY) road projects, here at a meeting with Deputy Commissioners of Jammu division.
The meeting was attended by Chief Engineer PMGSY, Des Raj, ADC Jammu, Tahir Firdous and other concerned officers while Deputy Commissioners of Jammu division along with other concerned officers attended the meeting through video conferencing.
The DCs informed the Div Com about progress on different roads in their respective districts besides apprised him of land acquisition cases and forest clearance issues.
The engineers apprised the Div Com of length wise progress achieved so far in the districts.
The Div Com asked to expedite and monitor the work closely. He asked to set weekly targets of work and share the progress on regular basis.
He also asked for resolving all pending land acquisition cases for PMGSY roads.
