DDC Rajouri reviews land identification process for 6 Receiving Stations

Rajouri : District Development Commissioner, Rajouri Mohammad Aijaz Asad Monday chaired a meeting of the Executive Engineers of Project wing PDD and Systems and operations to iron out the issues impeding construction of receiving stations of different capacities in the district.
The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner, Rajouri, Sher Singh, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Kotranka, Ved Parkash, AC Defence, Ramkesh Sharma, Sub divisional Magistrate Thanamandi,Mohammad Tanvir, Tehsildar Rajouri,Sheraz Chouhan and Tehsildar Kotranka, RK Anand.
The DDC sought station wise report from the executive engineers of project wing and system operation wing of PDD. It was informed that receiving stations works have been sanctioned under different centrally sponsored schemes like IPDS/DDUJY/PMDP rural and urban.
It was informed during the meeting that the contract for the construction of 3.15 MVA receiving station at Monargalla, Tattapani and Shahdara sharief have been allotted to Reliance. It was informed that the land selected for 3.15 MVA receiving station at Monargalla is not suitable, while the land for the construction of 3.15 MVA receiving station at Shahdara sharief is yet to be identified. It was further informed that the land for the at Tatapani station has been identified and the samples for soil testing has been sent.
The issues related to the construction of 3.15 MVA receiving stations at Khandli, Muradpur and Pathan Mohra under IPDS were also discussed in detail. It was informed that the land identified for the receiving station Pathan Mohra and Muradpur is subjudice in the court while the work on the receiving station Khandi is in progress.
The DDC directed the engineers of system and operations, STD and revenue officers to visit Shahdara Sharief, Monargalla, Muradpur, Pathanmohra and identify the land whether State or private ,so that the work on the said receiving stations could be started at the earliest and without any delay.
