DDC Poonch reviews progress of MGNREGA works

Poonch : District Development Commissioner Rahul Yadav Monday chaired a meeting to review the progress of different developmental works under Mahatama Gandhi National Rural Employment Generation Scheme( MGNREGS) and other rural development schemes.
The DDC also reviewed the secure estimation, implementation of T+2 to T+8 module, status of billing pending works for the year 2016-17, 20117-18, 2018-19, status of works in progress, status of GIS Plan and status of M
The meeting was attended by ADDC Mohammad Rashid Choudhary, ACD Abdul Qayoom Mir, Xen REW Surinder Kumar all BDOs, AEEs, AEs, JEs, TAs of RDD and other concerned officers / officials.
It was informed in the meeting that 937 SECURE works have been uploaded under MGNREGAS in which 215 works were estimated creation. The DDC gave strict directions to the officers to clear the pendency of estimation.
During the meeting, the DDC discussed in detail developmental works taken up under GIS Plan/ MGNREGA Plan i.e; water tanks, tractor roads, Bunkers, water harvesting tanks, building works, Panchayat ghar, Anganwari centres and others.
After threadbare discussion, the DDC directed the concerned officers to speed up the pace of work of all developmental works and clear all pending bills.
The DDC directed to the concerned BDOs to upgrade Mobile Monitoring system through mobile app and prepare GIS plan on saturation mode under MGNREGA. He further directed them to submit the same within 2 or 3 days. He also called for implementation of T+2 to T+8 under MGNREGA and instructed to execute all pending Geo tagging work at the earliest.
