Srinagar: A conductor of a truck was killed after the two trucks collided on Srinagar-Jammu highway. An official said that a speedy truck bearing registration number UP11AT-8046 collided with another truck bearing registration number JK05B-5697.
He said the driver and conductor of standard truck were changing the tyre of truck during which a truck collided with their truck, leaving one person dead on spot. The deceased has been identified as Fayaz Zamam son of Fazal -ul Rehman of Busgam Baramulla.
“An FIR under number 63/2019 under section 279/304-A RPC has been registered and investigation into the case has been started,” Police official said.
