Srinagar: Hitting out at centre for deciding not the approach higher courts in cases like Muzaffarnagar riots, Samjhauta express, former J&K chief minister Mehbooba Mufti on Saturday alleged that it has made clear that the accused are being given a free run.

“GOIs decision to not approach higher courts in cases like Muzaffarnagar riots, Samjhauta express makes it clear that accused are being given a free run. Regardless of their religion they deserve punishment. Can’t keep snakes in your backyard expecting them to only bite the neighbours,” Ms Mehbooba wrote on wrote on micro-blogging site twitter.
