Srinagar: Two youths from Haryana were killed in a road accident in central Kashmir district of Ganderbal on Friday morning, official sources said.
They said a motorcyclist was killed and his pillion mate was critically wounded when their motorcycle number HR22L-5351 on way to Srinagar from Sonamarg collided with a truck at Rayil Gund, Kangan. The injured was immediately rushed to hospital where he also died.
The deceased were identified as Bharat Bhushan (27) son of Ashok Kumar and Gurlal Singh (28) son of Kewal Singh,residents of Haryana. They were on way to Srinagar from Ladakh, sources added.
Police have registered a case in this regard and further investigations have been taken up.
