Nehru not alone, Patel too responsible for Article 370: Shiv Sena

Srinagar: Shiv Sena has said Sardar Patel is also responsible for Article 370 which provides special status to Jammu And Kashmir State.
In his weekly column published in Saamana’s Sunday edition, Shiv leader Sanjay Raut said, “Pandit alone will have to tell Jawaharlal Nehru responsible for it. Sardar Patel should also be credited for the mission 370. Quoting official documents, Raut has described Article 370 as merely a ‘transitional measure’.
Political analysts say that the article by Sanjay Raut may have to face embarrassment for the BJP because he has been only blaming Nehru for giving special status to Jammu and Kashmir, while calling Sardar Patel an ‘Iron Man’ He has glorified them.
