Influential and eloquent, in a classic hope from the holocaust, focused on the deepest of human subjugation, paved the way for the rise of a storm that swayed the Himalayan paradise , called Kashmir, and leaped the oppressors in despair and fear. An inspiring profile of an amazing man who was able to garner some good from an experience so abysmally bad.”He was Burhan Muzaffar Wani and he continues to be the BURHAN of millions of hearts enshrining in Himalayan paradise. I sensibly believe that those born in slavery and under colonial subjugation have innate ability to resist oppression and tendency to reclaim lost stature. Likewise valley has produced plethora of such persons. Burhan Muzaffar Wani ,a little blooming kid from Dadsara Tral in Kashmir’s Anantnag district sensitized the heat of aggression , oppression and torture from the oppressors. Little did we know that he will absorb this heat and transform into power, what I call power of mind and consciousness, and the multiple fission and fusion of these tortures will turn him into the stormiest and brave rebel of Kashmir’s struggle for freedom. When he skipped his beats on 8th of July 2016,achieved a carnival of martyrdom ,it was not just his heart that stopped ,it was just a trigger for the chain reaction to be followed, that alternatively changed the dynamics of militancy in Kashmir, literally what’s called paradigm shift in resistance movement. The whole earth planet came to know about the rebel, the magnitude was such that valley witnessed the most deadliest and dark curfew in its history. I can’t refrain myself from speaking truth and it’s true that the legendary Burhan Muzaffar Wani is the hero of his land. A rebel who fought the deadliest monsters, a rebel who fought for the people of his land, a rebel who fought to relieve us of aggression and oppression. Violence was on rise again in the region, where India has presided over a bloody campaign to hunt down those fighting a quixotic battle for independence.
With his techy savour , Burhan Muzaffar Wani unmasked himself and was proud to be on the path, something that didn’t happen before ,he was more open ,clear and decisive in his mission and ideology . Indian media coined the phrase “selfie terrorism “, for Such endeavour introduced by Wani, for the same openness that Mr Wani resorted to, while being open on social networking sites to discuss the foray of mission and it’s promotion and promulgation think Indian media miscalculated the Idea behind this,it was actually an invitation to an open war between good and bad ,and between fugitive and truth. It was an absolute revival of modus operandi, in how the rebels of Kashmir’s struggle for freedom operated, and Mr Wani is accredited with the revival of this .He changed the arithmetic of armed struggle. For the first time in a decade, the ratio between indigenous and the foreign militants had changed in favour of the former. Out of 142 active militants in Valley, 88 were locals and the rest from Pakistan. The equation still holds. By the latest count, around 145 militants are active in Valley out of which 91 are locals and 54 foreigners.” Was it necessary for him to pick the arms? While being in cozy rooms we often gauge the situation from a miscalculated focus. It’s better to put our self in one’s shoes before being immature judgmental. If someone slaps you once out of reason, you can forgive him or you can seek explanations for the same on genuine grounds, but if the same person slaps you again, what would likely be the reaction, I ask you people. Okay now if it continues for years, I leave this upto to the intellectual society, I’m sure that Human brings will work to stop this hand from harming the innocent humans. likewise Mr Burhan Wani was bearing the chronic irritation from Indian security forces and this chronic nature of irk , atrocity and rigorous and violent humiliation flickered his gene for justice and thus he went up for struggle to emanate the battle against world’s third largest army.
The Rebel whose cracknels echoed all over the globe and even vibrated the United Nations .He was not just a person with gun roaming in woods, he was a storm laden with justice, courage, bravery and eloquence, not jus he resisted oppression but a lot more. He was the one who tethered world’s third largest army ,he was the one who introduced techy resistance revolution .He was the one who instilled the hope to live for humanity and with dignity .The decades of oppression have heralded the valley ,his conscience stirred his heart and soul and set him on the path he decided .”If you want to evaluate the efficiency of a person then look for the sea of people that turns to bid goodbye to the person during funeral. The Burhan Wan is funeral has been recorded as the largest in Kashmir history .it somehow justifies his reach of truth. Burhan’s memory runs deep within us. In the three years since his killing, I have often found people listening to a song:
Fasl-e-gulhai ab jahanmein
Ae shahidon, tum kahanho?
Tazgihaigulistanmein
Ae shahidon, tum kahanho?
It is spring all around
Where are you, our martyrs?
The flower gardens are fresh
Where are you, our martyrs?
The carnival of martyrdom that followed Wani’s death was unique in its sense and the sensitization of youth was quite realistic and it portrayed a decisive anguish and relinquishment against Indian union and it’s trajectories in Kashmir. “Tyrants believe that, they silenced him for he is no more visible to them, but I believe as long as tyranny and Tyrant’s exist, the rebels do sprout to vanish the same. He was just an igniting spark destined to set ablaze the colonial aggression, the spark has magnified and accelerated to douse the arrogant colonists into ashes.
