Srinagar: Police in Srinagar district has launched online Crime and Criminal Tracking Networks and Systems (CCTNS) which can be used by the general public for registering complaints and other services, a police spokesman said here on Thursday.
He said for the convenience of public, J&K Police has launched online CCTNS Portal (jkpoliceeservices.gov.in) which can be used by the General Public.
He said it has multiple channel to access services from J&K police, including process for registering complaints, tracking complaints and FIR’s, accessing general services such as requests for certificates, verifications and permissions and to view, report unclaimed, recovered vehicles and property.
He said complainant or applicant can register himself or herself through the portal and after filling all the requisite details in the form (fields with asterisk (*) are mandatory) and thereafter Login Id/password will be generated.
The Login Id/password so generated is required to register the complaint and the same complaint will be displayed on the dashboard of the concerned Police station for appropriate action, he said.
