Fare fixed for heli services during Shri Machail Mata, Hudh Mata pilgrimages

Kishtwar: District Administration has fixed heli services fare for the forthcoming Shree Machail Mata and Hud Mata pilgrimages.
The schedule for Machail Yatra 2019 has been fixed at Rs 2,200 per head for adults and children between the age group of 02-12 years. The fare is for a one way journey. M/S Aryan Aviation Pvt. Ltd and Heritage Aviation Pvt. Ltd are the two companies which managed to bag the contract for flying passengers to and fro from Gulabgarh-Machail-Gulabgarh.
Deputy Commissioner, Angrez Singh Rana, informed that this year air fare for Machail Yatra 2019 has been fixed at Rs. 2,270 from Gulabgarh to Machail, Rs. 4, 000 from Kishtwar to Gulabgarh besides the airfare for Shri Hudh Mata Yatra has been fixed at Rs. 2, 200 from Kishtwar to Sounder and Rs. 2, 200 from Sounder to Kaikoot. This fare rate is for one way journey per passanger (inclusive of taxes) also applies to children in the age group of 2 to 12 years while children below 2 years of age will not be charged.
DC revealed that 60% tickets have been earmarked through online booking and rest 40% shall be booked on spot at Kishtwar, Gulabgarh and Sounder.
“The heli services will facilitate the pilgrims including elderly, children and even sick people to pay obeisance comfortably besides helping in relief and rescue operations in case of any emergency” he added.
