Jammu: One day training workshop on Leprosy Case Detection Campaign (LCDC) for Block Medical Officers and Incharge Medical Officers of Jammu Urban was organized by office of Chief Medical Officer Jammu at Hotel Radisson Blu.
Micro action plan of modalities to be used during 14 days of LCDC was deliberated in detail. Activities to be started w.e.f. 1st July to 14th July 2019. Director Health Services, Jammu Dr. Samir Mattoo, was the Chief Guest.
Chief Medical Officer Jammu Dr. Danish Ayub Khan along with other participations ZLO DHS,SMO WHO, Dy. CMO,DHO, Block Medical Officers (All Blocks) and Incharge Medical Officers of Jammu Urban attended the workshop.
Special emphasis was given on operational preparedness and adherence of timelines, roles and responsibilities of each member of team was explained in detail. Aim of this workshop was to detect the hidden cases of Leprosy, if any to be detected and treated at the earliest to bring elimination of Leprosy to desired Level.
