Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir High Court Friday this week cancelled the chambers allotment to 18 lawyers for non-liquidating the outstanding of license fee within stipulated time.
“Pursuant to resolution dated May 5, 2019, of Committee for Lawyers Chambers in the High Court Premises Srinagar, the allotment of chambers of 18 advocates, who were allotted chambers in the Lawyers Chamber Building, High Court Premises Srinagar, stand cancelled for non-liquidating the outstanding of license fee within the stipulated time,” order reads.
The advocates, order states, shall surrender their respective chambers within a week and handover the possession to the Registrar Judicial by or before June 28, 2019.
