Jammu /June, 23 : GRP Katra Sunday reunited a missing minor boy with his family.
Reports said GRP Katra during routine patrolling at railway platform noticed a boy, age about 6 years wandering at the Railway Station Katra and brought the boy to Police station GRP Katra.
During enquiry, the said boy disclosed that he has lost his parents and his name is Sanjay, son of Ravi Patel, resident of Chatisgarh, presently at Kathua.
SSP Railway Katra, Ranjit Singh Samyal, immediately constituted a team under the supervision of Bodh Raj, SDPO Railways Katra, to know the whereabouts and traced his parents within a shortest possible time.
Finally SHO GRP Katra telephonically contacted his mother namely Suman Patel, wife of Ravi Patel, resident of Chatisgarh, presently residing at Kathua and handed over the said boy to her after completing legal formalities.
The mother of missing boy lauded the role of GRP Katra for their timely and swift action, which resulted in the safely re-union of her son.
