Srinagar: President Democratic Party Nationalist (DPN) and former agriculture minister Ghulam Hassan Mir has met Governor Satya Pal Malik at Raj Bhawan here.
Mir while discussing with the Governor, impressed upon him that the rate of higher education in woman folk is less especially in rural areas. He also impressed upon the Governor that one reason for it is that many people don’t approve coeducation system.
The former minister pitched for opening of Women’s college at Kunzer. The land is already identified in Goonipora.
Governor assured Mir the demand will be considered on priority basis. Mir also said that women folk is less especially in rural areas.
