DC Jammu convenes DLSCC meeting

Jammu: The District Level Screening cum Coordination Committee (DLCC) meeting was held here Wednesday under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Ramesh Kumar.
Among others, SDM Jammu South, SDM Akhnoor, representatives of GOC 16 Corps, GOC 26 Infantry, GOC 10, BSF Frontline Paloura, CRPF, GC Bantalab, JKP and other concerned committee members were present in the meeting.
The meeting took up and discussed four cases, of which, two compassionate appointment cases were cleared for appointment under SRO-43/1994. Besides, one case was rejected by the Committee while the last case was decided to be forwarded to DC Rajouri for further necessary action.
Later, the DC had a meeting of District Level Committee under central scheme for assistance to civilian victims, family of victims of terrorists, communal/Cross Border Firing and Mine/IED blasts.
The meeting gave nod to one case for central assistance of Rs 5 lakh.
Among others, Project Officer ICDS, Chief Account Officer District Fund office, Chief Medical Officer Jammu, District Social Welfare officer Jammu and officers of police department were present in the meeting.
