Srinagar: Two persons died on Tuesday after the vehicle they were travelling in met with an accident near Ratta Chamb Bridge. A Tata mobile number bearing registration number JK12-1129 was on its way from Shopian side towards Bufliaz, officials said, adding that as soon as the vehicle reached at Ratta Chamb, the driver lost the control over his vehicle and fell into a 400 meters deep gorge, resulting in the death of two persons.
The duo have been identified as Nazarat Ali, son of Muhammad TaJ age about 23/24 years of Behra Mendhar and Mushtaq Ahmed, son of Muhammad Sharief age about 22/23 years of Mendhar. The dead bodies were retrieved from the gorge by Army and police with the help of locals.
