Jammu : State Disaster Response Fund 2nd battallian Jammu Wednesday organised a two day training programme on ‘Disaster Management’ under the supervision of SSP Commandant of the battallian, Rashmi Wazir.
The event, which was sponsored by JTFRP, concluded here Wednesday with SSP, district Jammu, Tajinder Singh, presiding over the valedictory function.
The participants put forth their views on the the subject during the two day training programme which was attended by various stake holders of Jammu province.
The SSP, in his valedictory address, emphasized on necessity of such trainings on disaster management to save precious lives and prevent damage to property of people during any such mishap.
Later, mementoes and certificates were distributed among the training resource persons and participants.
