KARGIL:- A training programme for online submission of bills in treasuries for processing by the Drawing and Disbursing Officers (DDOs) through IT-enabled JKPaySys application was held at Conference Hall Baroo here on Monday.
Trainers from the National Informatics Centre (NIC) Srinagar imparted detailed training to the Drawing and Disbursing Officers (DDOs) and Dealing Assistants about the process of furnishing e-bills to the treasuries along with all pre-requisites and documents mandated as per the Treasury code.
The DDOs were told that the new system of payment is aimed to ensure efficiency, transparency and smooth functioning of the billing and payment system and would ensure hassle-free payments from the treasuries.
