DDC Doda inaugurates All India Gufran Memorial T-20 Tournament at Doda

DODA: District Development Commissioner, Dr Sagar D Doifode, inaugurated All India 15th Gufran Memorial T-20 Cricket Championship at Sports stadium here Tuesday.
The tournament is being organised annually by Young Star Cricket Club Doda in collaboration with District administration and JK bank.
The organising committee informed that around 64 teams including 20 from other states and 2 teams from Bangladesh and Nepal will be participating in this edition of the tournament.
DDC appreciated the role of Young Star Cricket Club Doda for organising such event for the last 15 years.
DDC said Gufran championship provides a requisite platform for the youth of Chenab valley to show their talent in sports besides giving an opportunity to them of playing with famous cricketers of International repute and IPL tea
SSP Doda Mohd Shabir Malik, ACR Doda Kaiser Ahmed Bhawani, President MC Doda Ved Prakash Gupta,Ashwini Gupta Manager Zonal office JK bank Doda, Patron YSCC Manzoor Butt, Chairman YSCC Naseer Ahmed Khora and large number of spectators were present in the inaugural ceremony of the tournament.
