Day 2: Let’s play football state level event

Srinagar:  Director General Youth Services & Sports J&K Dr. Saleem-ur-Rehman today visited different venues of Let’s Play Football State Level Event at Srinagar & Ganderbal. Director General interacted with players and officials at the venues. Due to inclement weather the matches scheduled were delayed, however after 11:30 am all the venues were set right for today’s matches, and Technical committee decided to conduct the matches at all the venues. In Girls section under 17-19 years group, District Srinagar defeated District Kishtwar by 2:0.Both the goals were scored by Sara a dashing player of District Srinagar Girls under 19 team. The highlight of the day was District Srinagar (in Boys section 13-16 age group) defeating Rajouri by seven goals to nil till reports last came in.  Almost all the scheduled matches were played in a smooth manner and the result is as under:
