Kulgam: The father of five daughters was arrested by forces in Ashmuji area of South Kashmir’s Kulgam district during nocturnal raid in the intervening night of Sunday and Monday.
Reports reaching to KNO said forces raided the residence of Ghulam Mohammad Dar son of Abdullah Dar at Ashmuji village of Kulgam district at around 11:00 AM when he was present in his home with her five daughters and a wife.
Ghulam Mohammad is an employee in Public Health Engineering (PHE) department in Khrewan. Tahira Mehmood, daughter of Ghulam Mohammad told KNO that “We don’t have any affiliation with any political or non political organization; we appeal forces to release him as he has five daughters.”
Superintendent of Police (SP) Kulgam, Gurinder Pal Singh confirmed the arrest of Ghulam Mohammad and said that he has been detained for questioning.
