Nightmares for Jammu residents after video of robbers gang goes viral on social media

Jammu: Residents of Jammu are having nightmare for the past few days after a video showing gang of robbers entering a house, went viral on social media.
A CCTV footage showing a gang of burglars entering a house reportedly in Paloura area here on city outskirts, is creating a buzz on the social from Saturday.
The robbers in the video were 4 to 5 in number, naked but in undies with covered faces.
However, since the day, clipping was circulated on social media, rumours of “kala kachha” gang gets active in Jammu, are talk of the Town.
Police however, refuted the rumours.
“We are on job and finding out about the gang, “Tejinder Singh, SSP Jammu here told UNI.
He added that police is also trying to find out the root cause from where the video footage was circulated on the social media.
Meanwhile locals have been on alert and are having “sleepless nights” in panic allegedly due to the video getting circulated in social arena.
As per official sources, the modus operandi of the gang is that they enter the house in a group especially in those houses which are abandoned or where elderly people are staying.
The SSP however, also added that the night patrolling has also been enhanced in parts of Jammu city.
