Kishtwar: The students of Adarsh Bal Niketan High School was Wednesday made aware about the schemes of Labour Department.
Assistant Labour Commissioner, (ALC) Kishtwar Anoop Kumar made the students aware about various schemes being implemented by Labour Department, organised .
Principal, Adarsh Bal Niketan High School Kishtwar, Rajesh Chander Sharma, Labour Officer Fulail Sharma besides Teaching staff and scores of students of the host school participated in the program.
The ALC highlighted various schemes including Education Assistance & Other labour welfare schemes implemented by Building & other construction workers welfare Board.
Further, he informed that for the education of wards of labour card holders there is provision of education assistance from Rs 2500 to Rs 50000 per child per annum for a maximum of two children per year depending upon educational course they are pursuing.
He asked all the participants to aware their parents, relatives, neighbours about the schemes of labour department so that they can also avail the benefits of such schemes.
