Ramban: A team of district administration Wednesday recovered Rs 7000 fine from erring traders during a market checking here.
The team lead by ACR Harbans Lal Sharma conducted market checking here in the main town to ensure that people get quality edibles and essential commodities on reasonable rates on the eve of Eid –Ul- Fitter.
The team inspected shops and vendors to check the rates of fruits, vegetables, milk and other eatables besides inspecting the quality of these commodities. An amount of Rs. 7000 as fine was recovered from more than 30 erring traders while the team destroyed one quintal rotten vegetables and fruits and seized 10 kg polythene bags.
