Jammu/May,24 : National Conference (NC) president and Member Parliament Dr Farooq Abdullah a three time former Jammu & Kashmir Chief Minister on Friday said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi can not remove Article 35-A and Article 370 from the Indian constitution governing special status of Jammu and Kashmir state.
A day after his re-election to Lok Sabha from Srinagar parliamentary constituency the National Conference President while talking to reporters on his arrival in Jammu the winter capital of Jammu and Kashmir said “no matter how powerful the Prime Minister Narendra Modi has become after winning the Lok Sabha election he cannot remove Article 35A and Article 370 from the state of Jammu and Kashmir.”
As reported already National Conference has won all the three seats in Kashmir valley. When asked about the debacle of the Congress party and defeat of Congress President Rahul Gandhi from Utter Pradesh’s Amethi lok sabha constituency Dr Abdullah said, “Winning and losing are part of life. Rahul Gandhi after five years will make a comeback and I don’t think that people of Amethi will forget him.”
