Srinagar: Congratulating Bharatiya Janata Party for a ‘stellar performance’ in the Lok Sabha results, former Jammu and Kashmir chief minister Omar Abdullah on Thursday said Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP president Amit Shah have put together a winning alliance and a very professional campaign.
“So the exit polls were correct. All that’s left is to congratulate the BJP & NDA for a stellar performance. Credit where credit is due PM Modi Sahib & Amit Shah put together a winning alliance & a very professional campaign. Bring on the next five years,” Abdullah, who is the National Conference (NC) Vice President, wrote on micro-blogging site twitter.
The NDA is all set to once again come to power in centre with the alliance led by BJP leading by over 300 seats of 542 parliamentary constituencies in the country.
