Jammu: Red Cross Society, Jammu Region organised a first-aid awareness camp for employees of Chenab Valley Power Project (CVPP) in two sessions under the supervision of General Manager HR, M.K. Paulose.
During the first session, Dr. Ranbhushan Singh Sr. Anaesthetist, critical care and disaster management specialist, told the participants about do’s and don’ts in situations like injuries, snake bites, accidents, fire incidents, electric shock, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), etc.
Dr. Shelly Mahajan, MD. Anaesthesia, Medical Officer, IRCS demonstrated how to handle unconscious patients during the 2nd session. Besides, emergency technique of handling bleeding patient, fracture and accident victims was also elaborated to the participants.
