Jammu: Four girls and a boy were injured after natural lightning struck in two area of Jammu region on Friday. Officials said that natural lightening hit village Tukson in Mahore sub division of Reasi district of Jammu last night, leaving Jameela Baano, Dilshad Akhter, Janti Bi and Jameela Bi injured.
They said that two cattle also got killed in the incident. Meanwhile, a teenage boy got injured after natural lighting struck at his house in Basooni village of Balakote in Mendhar sub division. Injured has been identified as 17 years old Majid Ali son of Mohammad Shabir resident of Basooni Balakote.
Locals said that boy was sitting inside house when natural lighting struck leaving boy injured who was shifted to local army hospital where army authorities provided him medical aid. Later he was taken to sub district hospital Mendhar from where he has been referred to Rajouri GMC Associated Hospital for specialised treatment amid critical condition.
