Srinagar: A wanted militant of Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) was arrested by a Special team of Delhi police with the assistance of state police from outskirts of Srinagar, official sources said on Tuesday.
He said special team of Delhi police alongwith state police raided a place in Soura area in the city outskirts and arrested Abdul Majeed Baba, who was carrying a reward of Rs two lakh on his head.
Baba was involved in the Delhi shootout in 2007, when two Kashmiri and a Pakistan militants were arrested. However, he had managed to escape, they said adding Baba will be produced in the court and later taken to Delhi.
