Srinagar: Incessant rain on Monday evening lashed the summer capital, Srinagar, world famous ski resort of Gulmarg and other parts of Kashmir valley, resulting in considerable dip in the day temperature.
A Met department spokesperson said that scattered light rain and thundershowers would occur during the next 48 hours in Kashmir valley under the influence of a Western Disturbance (WD), which is active in the region. “The weather will slightly improve Wednesday,” he said.
