Ramban: District Development Commissioner, Showkat Aijaz Bhat, Friday inspected road clearance operation at Digdol area besides taking stock of facilities being extended to the stranded passengers.
He asked the concerned officers to ensure that all stranded passengers are provided adequate convenience like food, accommodation and related utilities.
DDC urged upon the commuters to contact the traffic control rooms before starting their journey on the highway.
Pertinently, a landslide had blocked the 270-km highway, the only all-weather road linking Kashmir with rest of the country at Digdol in Ramban district.
