Srinagar: Three passengers died and five others including the driver were injured after their vehicle met with an accident in Ukhral tehsil of Ramban district of Jammu and Kashmir late last night.
An official said the accident took place at 11 pm in Seenabatti area of Pogal Paristan. Three persons who died in the mishap were identified as Milap Singh, Keshu Ram and Raju Singh.
The five injured — Reyaz Ahmad (driver), Kalyan Singh, Kartar Singh, Flower Singh and Hari Om — all local residents – were shifted to PHC Ukhral where from they were referred to district hospital Ramban for specialized treatment, said a top health official of the district.
