Srinagar: While addressing most prestigious function of knowledge and education supported by Marathon race organized by SSM School and college at Picturesque Nishat Garden, Khawaja Farooq Renzushah chief Commissioner J&K Scouts & Guides, said that youth of Kashmir have to play pivotal role in restoring old Respectable image of Kashmir by launching Revolution of knowledge and Development.
He said that let every right thinking person according to his respective faith carry Quran in one hand and laptop in other hand, Geeta in one hand and Laptop in other hand, Bible in one hand and Laptop in other hand and all jointly work for promotion of knowledge and education.
He said Kashmir needs revamping of entire education system so that it is focused on love only by plugging all holes of hate. He complimented Prof. G. N. Parray chairman SSM for organizing such prestigious event particularly in Historical Nishat Garden and producing such talented students who have excelled at International and National level. Najam ud din, Maqbool principles were also appreciated.
Renzushah said that Kashmir territory which actually is 2222236 sq kms is fragmented in pieces because of which our five thousand years proud history seems lost in oblivion. He said the only hash tag or epitome of Kashmir should be knowledge and love. Those who have miserably failed to deliver on development and education front for 70 years should watch that inspite of their mishandlings in destroying education system the treasure of talents concealed in our youth always remained alive.
He acknowledged private education system has played vital role but Ministry of HRD GOI should directly subsidize Pvt school teacher’s salaries to bring it at par with Govt teachers’ salaries so that Pvt schools do not compromise on Quality of teachers. This will help in revamping education in Kashmir towards positive direction.
He also made appeal to Govt to scrap the bill passed in Assembly allowing use of wine in Kashmir after 19975.He said youth should be kept away from drugs and wine. Kashmir is place of spirituality and purity is necessary to enrich same.
