Srinagar: District Vice President of BJP was shot dead by unidentified gunmen at his home in Nowgam village of Verinag, Anantnag district.
BJP state spokesman Altaf Thakur said that Gul Muhammad Mir 60 son of Abdul Karim Mir was fired upon by suspected militants at his home Saturday evening.
“He received four bullets and was brought dead to hospital,” said Thakur and termed the killing as barbaric.
