Srinagar: The family of a 25-year-old youth, who went missing from Kashmir valley on April 28, has sought help from general public to trace him.
Official sources said that a youth, identified as Shafat Ahmad Malik, a resident of Kangan in central Kashmir district of Ganderbal, left home for SHMS hospital in Srinagar on April 28 for a medical checkup. However, they said the youth didn’t return home.
They said after searching for Malik for about two days, the family filed a missing complaint at Kangan Police station on April 30. “Police has registered a case and initiated investigation to ascertain the whereabouts of the youth,” they said.
Meanwhile, the family has sought help from general public in finding the whereabouts of the youth.
