Srinagar: With the improvement in weather, the timing of all government and private schools have been changed from May 1 in Kashmir valley, including summer capital, Srinagar.
An official spokesperson said that the Director School Education Kashmir (DSEK) on Monday ordered a change in school timings for Kashmir province from May 1, 2019.
He said the new timings for the government and the recognized private schools falling in the areas of Srinagar Municipal limits will be from 0830 hrs to 1430 hrs.
Meanwhile, he said the timings for schools falling outside the Srinagar municipal limits will be from 0930 hrs to 1530 hrs.
